Executive Summary

The FMV (Fair Market Value) tool is a critical compliance instrument used by the Oncology Business Unit to locate and engage Health Care Professionals (HCPs). The redesign focused on strict regulatory compliance while modernizing the interface with accessible, high-contrast usability standards.

My Role

  • Modernized the UI with new brand typography (Inter/Lexia)
  • Ensured WCAG 2.2 AA compliance for all interactive elements
  • Redesigned result cards for rapid scanning of HCP status
  • Streamlined the search workflow for professional lookups
  • Implemented clear status indicators for engagement eligibility

The Challenge

The Problem

The previous tool was outdated, hard to read, and lacked clear visual hierarchy, leading to errors in selecting the correct HCP. Compliance risks were high if non-engaged HCPs were accidentally contacted.

Solution

A clean, clinical, and high-precision search interface. We introduced a 'Light Platinum' card style for results with distinct gold badges to indicate status. The search form was simplified to prioritize NPI ID and Name, with clear error handling and keyboard support (Enter to Search, Esc to Clear).
